This is one of many experiences I have had investigating the spirit world.  This happened while living in Houston.  This was before I had created my own investigating team.

I had joined an online group that conducted investigations in the Houston Area.  We met at a haunted restaurant for dinner and to meet everyone that posted online. Our group consisited of 9 people that night. 

We all had dinner and talked of our past experiences and why this field fascinated us.  The waiter was awesome and could tell he really enjoyed talking to us about the activity in the restaurant that he was employed at.  We found out the upstairs was the most active.  He told us that usually banquets of large sizes were held upstairs, but we were lucky because that night none were scheduled.  We asked if we could go up and stake out the supposedly haunted area.  He said no problem we would love for you to go up and investigate as long as you want.

So we headed up with cameras, video recorders, digital recorders, EMF detectors and our open minds.  I kind of laugh now because as soon as we all landed on the top step, I swear we were in sync, all of our cameras went off at the same time.  It was as if a famous person was in the room.

We decided to spread out so that way our flashes would not intefere with others pictures.  After about an hour, nature decided to call for me.  I was going to go back downstairs and use the facilities down there when someone told me that a restroom was right around the corner.  She told me to be careful because rumor has it that the spirit loves to play jokes and will lock me in the restroom.  I told her thanks for the heads up and to check on me if I was not out after 20 minutes.  She laughed and said ok.  Now in my mind when she told me of this possible activity I was saying Great, bring it on! 

I walked in, the atmosphere was a little strange and heavy.  Kind of felt as if you were not alone.  So I looked under the two stalls to see if I could see feet.  Nothing.  I was alone, or I thought I was alone.  Did what I needed to do and was washing up when I heard a click at the door.  Now the door locked from the outside.  So I thought great everyone is done, they are leaving and the place is closing down.  Unsure as to when the establishment closed.  I finished up and proceeded to walk out.  The door was locked.  I started knocking and talking pretty loud hoping someone would hear me.  Nothing.  Then the lights dimmed but did not fully shut off.  I looked around and said out loud.  Hello, my name is Victoria and I have heard stories about you and we are here to prove that you do exist and would love for you to unlock the door so I can proceed with getting my proof.  A few seconds went by, the lights did a dim again.  At that point I heard a knock on the door with someone saying my name which turned out to be one of the members of the group checking on me.  I yelled back that I was alright but could not get out because someone was wanting to show me they do exist.  Could you please unlock the door for me?  She chuckled and I heard a click and the door opened. 

All she kept doing was laughing and asking Oh My God were you scared?  Man, you poor thing.  I told her No I was not scared but even more excited about getting pics left and right.  I did go back to the restroom with another member.  She held the door open while I went in to get EVP and pics.  But I never did get anything in the restroom for the rest of the night.  I ended up visiting The Spaghetti Warehouse almost on a weekly basis.  The owner and employees got to know me on a first name basis LOL

I found out with each visit that this was not going to be my only experience that I would be able to share.  Every time I went back something new and different would happen.

I spent two days redoing our website to make it a little more visitor friendly.  I also added new content.  This blog so visitors can read of experiences during investigations.  I will continue to post pictures to the website but our experiences will be posted here. 

I also added a page for visitors to have their paranormal photos added to our website.  I had this feature on my personal paranormal site and was a hit with quite a few of my visitors.  They enjoyed seeing their photos on the web.

I also fixed our guestbook.  So if you signed our old one in the past please sign again.  For some strange reason the guestbook went down and every one that signed was lost.  I do apologize.

I hope the site is easier for everyone and you are more than welcome to post a comment here, our guestbook, or post on our messageboard.  We have some wonderful people that are members of our board and would love to meet new members that have same passion....The paranormal.

I will be posting more tonight of my past experiences when I lived in Houston and ran a team there.  Again comments are welcome.
